In this project I asked a number of people 'If Your House Was On Fire What Would You Try To Save?
Through the given answers I aimed to see whether consumerism and generation has effected the way we think about material items and whether, as a society, we have become less sentimental.
‘The Illusion of Dominance’ questions man’s relationship with nature. I am fascinated by how quickly nature recovers from the effects and constraints of humanity; how when things are abandoned, they are quickly engulfed by the natural world.
In this series I explore peoples more 'unusual' heirlooms and what they mean to them. Each photograph is overlaid with handwritten letter written by each of the heirloom owners.
‘Perception’ is a project that looks to question the phrase ‘the camera never lies.’ It poses the question of whether photographs do depict a true reality?
